This fanlisting is to unite fans all across the globe who loves Konami's Suikoden V.

About Suikoden V

Suikoden V is a wonderful PlayStation 2 role-playing game from a long-running series from Konami. The fifth installment of the game returns with the old gameplay system from I and II and the new gameplay system from III and IV. This game takes place in the Queendom of Falena, and the whole story is about the Sun Rune War that takes place less than ten years before the first game.

In this game, you play "Freyjadour" Falenas, the son of the current queen, Arshtat. With Frey, you go through the game like a typical RPG, and like all the past installments, you must recruit 108 Stars of Destiny, build up your castle and army, and unravel the intricately put storyline.

As a long time Suiko fan, I really adore the new game. I and II were my all-time favourites, and with the introduction of III, I was mighty disappointed by how the series was turning out. However, with this game, it has restored the 20% of faith I had lost in the series. Unlike other RPG series, the world of Suikoden takes place in the same world but at different time frame, allowing several characters to exist in two or more games.

This game is a fantastic comeback to the series, and it most certainly deserves a fanlisting for an underrated game and series.
